What is FLL?

FLL stands for First Lego League and it is a program for 9-14 year old kids to get them involved in Science and Technology. The kids use LEGOs to build a robot and program it to do approximately 13 Missions on a field mat in 2.5 minutes (they have 13 weeks to work on this!). On Competition Day each team will play in the Robot Game 3 times the highest score is the one that counts - which is the most obvious part of FLL. But teams are also being judged on Teamwork, Robot/Software Design, and their Project Presentation. Teams are scheduled to meet with a set of judges at designated times in each of these categories.
